Why a dandelion?
Do you know how amazing a “simple” dandelion (Taraxacum Officinale) is?
The dandelion plant is entirely edible: flowers, stem, leaves and roots can be used.
Nutritionally, the dandelion is rich in polyphenols, caroteinoids, vitamins C, B-complex, K, choline, minerals such as iron, potassium and calcium.

Tip - add dandelion florets to salads for a dose of flavonoids

Tip - eat the bitter dandelion leaves raw in a salad or steamed
Medicinally, the dandelion has been used for centuries in many different parts of the world. It is mostly known for its action on detox organs such as liver and kidneys. It has tonic, digestive, detoxing, diuretic, mildly laxative properties and it favours bile release.

Tip - use dried roots for curative teas. Dandelion roots can be great for liver support. Ask your herbalist for directions!
